The amazing [Psy/Changeling] series ("USA Today") continues from the equally amazing storyteller ("Smexy Books") "New York Times" bestselling author Nalini Singh Assassin. Soldier. Arrow. That is who Vasic is, who he will always be. His soul drenched in blood, his conscience heavy with the weight of all he s done, he exists in the shadows, far from the hope his people can almost touch if only they do not first drown in the murderous insanity of a lethal contagion. To stop the wave of death, Vasic must complete the simplest and most difficult mission of his life. For if the Psy race is to survive, the empaths must wake Having rebuilt her life after medical treatment that violated her mind and sought to suffocate her abilities, Ivy should have run from the black-clad Arrow with eyes of winter frost. I thought I'd read this one, but now I'm thinking I had not. I really enjoyed it, as we got a closer look at the Arrows, and Vasic in particular. Plus the issues with the Psynet came to a head, and the solution to the problems was interesting. The world is definitely changing and growing, and it's interesting to see it as it happens. I'm excited to keep moving in the series.

So I think I didn't enjoy this as much as I could have because my week has been so hectic. It took me longer to read this than most of the other books in the series and I feel I didn't invest my mind into it. It's still a pick though and it's definitely an integral piece of the series.

Oh. My. Days. This book!

How is Nalini so good at this?!

Infection is continuing to spread through the Psynet. Empaths may be the only hope. Despite being suppressed by silence, and unsure of their strength and abilities, they may be the only ones who can prevent the destruction caused by the infectious outbreaks. And for the Arrows assigned to protect them, they may become the embodiment of hope itself.
