There were definitely poems in this collection that really spoke to me and I'm sure would speak to many others. However, there were also poems I did not understand at all.

Overall I enjoyed this collection, but I don't think it is one that I would go back and read again and again or quote from that often. I definitely think it's worth other people reading, especially readers with more of a poem reading brain than what I have.

i wouldn't say i'm sensitive, i would say i'm highly susceptible to feeling a lot, and "sometimes there just ain't enough rocks." Forrest Gump. when i say my feelings are a box of chocolates, i mean i like to eat them.

I really wanted to love this but it just didn't connect with me.
I still LOVE her spoken poetry and will continue with that format.

Mimi28 I couldn‘t really get into it either, but my mom read it in one sitting, lol. She said it made her feel less depressed. 5y

I really like Sabrina Benaim on Button Poetry. This collection is a solid 3.5⭐️. The overdrive ebook is accompanied by her audio recordings of the poems as well which is a bonus as her readings really make it come alive.

Depression can be a lonely struggle, believe me I know. There is always someone who understands though and you aren‘t alone. #depresssion #mentalillness #youarenotalone
