⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A very good 🎧🦑 listen about cephalopods, squids especially but not only - also 🐙& 🌊🐌 & other related creatures - & their fossil record and what that may or may not mean. I liked it a lot! Best discovery from listening was that whales worldwide may be eating up to 3 million giant squids EVERY DAY. ??? Our world is really 🐳 world. A good listen for #science2K19. #science #audiobook
“The depths of the sea can be nearly as mysterious and inaccessible as the depths of time.” 🐙🦑🐡🦐🐠🦞🐟🦀🐬🐳🌊🌍🌏🌎 This is such a fascinating book! Should finish it on the commute home today. 🎧 #science
🎧 on my commute. #science2K19 remains fascinating!
“Ammonoid shells display more and more spines as the incidence of bite marks increases.” THAT‘S RIGHT, COME AT US, PREDATORS. It just gives us more spine. 😂😮🦈
In place of the Claudia Gray, I started this one on my commute. #audiobook #science2K19
Ancient cepholopods were abundant and this book tells the history of how the most interesting mollusks in the world evolved. Unfortunately, the writing left me wanting more. I love squid and their cousins, but this was just okay. 🦑
I‘ve been hearing about this book for a while so when I saw it at the library I nabbed it. Loved it. Turns out I had NO idea at all about the long and interesting history of cephalopods. I didn‘t even know that some people keep octopus as pets, but that is impossible to do the same with squids. Recommended.
