What Did I Do?
What Did I Do?: Gripping psychological suspense from the best-selling author of 'When I Wake Up' | Jessica Jarlvi
3 posts | 2 read | 1 to read
The new heart-pounding psychological thriller from the bestselling author of When I Wake Up. Kristin is on the run. From her life. From herself. When two murders are committed in Chicago, a witch-hunt ensues, and Kristin quickly finds herself at the centre of it. The problem is she isn't sure of what she did or didn't do. Armed with her husband's life-insurance pay out, she decides to run away to Sweden to start her life over. But it's not that easy to escape the past. Kristin grows increasingly confused, tormented by visions of her brother drowning, her husband gasping for air, and her mother's twisted, broken limbs draped across the stairs of her childhood home. Whatever she's done, someone is on her tail, wanting her to pay... Could she be a killer and not even remember?

Ugh. I just screwed myself. I hadn't done netgalley in a couple of years. Been getting a decent amount of print arcs from Goodreads, but I went on yesterday and saw a bunch of audios that looked good. I'll put in for some and may get one or two, I thought. Fast forward to today, and I got 12! approval emails. (No rejections yet). Yikes! I guess I should be happy, but now I feel stressed. I know what I'll be listening to for the foreseeable future.

squirrelbrain Why do we do it to ourselves?! 🤣 1y
Soubhiville Wow! But also yay? Lol. 1y

TheLibrarian @vivastory I haven‘t read them but I do own them. Apparently the Stormlight Archive is supposed to be 10 books and I can‘t bring myself to remember everything by the time number 10 comes out. So I‘m waiting until he‘s closer to finishing the series. 6y

Pickpick

This was only just a pick. Wow there were some twists in this making it a good story but it did take some following though. It took a while to get into the story and understand just who everyone was but once I did it got better. It does jump around a lot too. The ending was good and I liked the conclusion to the story.
