My third book finished for #BackListReadathon, think I will be more prepared for it next month. This finishes a story started in the previous book. Much longer than others in the series and I think this led to it losing some of the pace, and also lost a lot of its humour with the two authors. Clwojick Great job! It worked really well for me too! I bounced back and forth between genres, but whenever I was in the mood for a thriller I‘d stick with my one author For February I think I‘ll go with a romance author, to play into #Loveathon, but I‘m not 100% on which author I‘ll choose. Probably Sawyer Bennett so I can knock off one of the bigger series I chose for #SeriesLove2023. 🎉 2y

Alternately hilarious and horrifying - and okay, sometimes at the same time! - this is Jack at her feisty best, and full of the spinetingling tension characteristic of Konrath & Crouch. I also just really love ALL of these characters...even the villains.
