I‘m late on my #hometownswap post. I worked late but thankfully I had my box at work which had everything I love! When I began to open the strip of tape, my coffee radar could smell the lovely aroma from inside the box. I read the book jackets and forced myself to leave it at work tonight so I could sleep and be not be tempted to read into the hours. Thanks @CocoReads for making my first swap so much fun! I picked this up at the Goodwill today. It was a quick read. It is pages of conversations of what it would be like if your dog could send you text messages. Some were hilarious.

I have always loved horror books and movies. I have also loved poetry and my grandfather wrote hundreds. Today, I‘ve added a book to my shelf that‘s a little different. Killer Verse: Poems of Murder and Mayhem

I found this audiobook at the library today. I made it through 1 1/2 discs while running errands. It‘s interesting!!

A great friend gave me this today.

Carlene Thompson is a native West Virginian and so am I. Her stories often take place in West Virginia. I have read many of her books. If you like a great mystery/murder novel, she will keep you guessing until the end. She also includes an animal she has had in her stories. She describes them on her website.

I just added this to my Kindle. It looks interesting.

I loved the book. It‘s very intense in places and it is certainly a page-turner. Thanks to a friend for the recommendation!
