Finally, a book after my own nosy little heart.

BookDame @MrBook please welcome my hubby into are community 😊 6y
Hugheslifts Awwww. You're introducing me... Thanks, mom😂 6y
MrBook Lol@😂👏🏻 Hi, @Hugheslifts , welcome to the #LitsyFamily. Yes! Another guy! Lol, we're kind of scarce on here 😊 (which isn't a bad thing in the least). You probably hear this a lot, but you're a lucky guy to have such an amazing bibliophile for your better-half. @BookDame is one of my and @BookBabe 's favorites to follow on here. 😁🙌🏻 6y

BookDame Thank you @MrBook ! You and @BookBabe are some of my favorites as well. A well read power couple 😉 6y
Hugheslifts Thank you for the warm welcome. I'm very proud of @BookDame. She‘s on the cusp of finishing her well-deserved masters, and now I have to badger her into a PhD 😂. I understand the gender divide with painful acuity; I‘m one of the few male English teachers in the county. (edited) 6y
MrBook @BookDame Aww, thank you!!! ☺️🤗🤗🤗🤗 6y
MrBook @Hugheslifts Lol! Same thing with librarians. 6y
Hugheslifts Now I‘m wondering about the demographic data of the literary world 🤔 6y

So, on my way to check the mail I notice... through my neighbor‘s big-ass non-draped window... books. There were tons and tons of books in these huge massive floor-to -ceiling shelves. I swear I only peeked briefly because their cat caught my eye. They just moved into the townhouse two doors down. These are clearly *my people* but I can‘t tell them I know this because looked in their friggin window!!! 😲😲😲 #thewomaninthewindow #craycray

SandyW You could go by at night... and if the lights are on and they still habe no window coverings then you have a valid explanation. 😀 6y
BlameJennyJane @SandyW Ha ha, Thanks! I shall find a valid explanation! 6y
TEArificbooks Swing by with a welcome to the neighborhood gift, maybe a book to start a dialogue so maybe they invite you in... 6y
BlameJennyJane @mdm139 great idea! 6y
SaturnDoo Hmmph...no shame in my game..I would be the one to say "The other day I walked by and you had no curtains up. I thought you were advertising your gorgeous bookshelves to the neighborhood. The books are absolutely lovely. What genres and authors do you like?" ??? 6y

Pickpick

Picked up this book based on a recommendation to use it as a resource in character development in writing. Was super duper impressed--no book has ever 1) made me want to peruse people's trash cans and 2) clean up so people won't peruse mine 😂😂😂.

I absolutely LOVED this book. It channeled my inner spy/detective and really got me thinking about identity and the messages we broadcast about ourselves through "behavioral residue"--first audiobook read in adult life and so rewarding an experience!!
