I‘m about fifty pages in and I‘m not sure about this one. Either the author will pull everything together and the book will be brilliant, or it will continue to be people, including the main character, behaving bizarrely.

bailed...and I‘m out. I do not like the third person, present tense narration in this book. It‘s got a weird cadence that I think is supposed to lend tension to the story, but just doesn‘t work. I also find the MCs navel gazing to be annoying. I don‘t care about her or the murder she witnessed as a child or the murder we‘re told she‘s going to witness. #bored Even #Bailey is not impressed. 😂 #dogsoflitsy
