When Jonah and Katherine travel to early 1900s Switzerland and Serbia to return Albert Einstein's daughter, Lieserl, to history, her mother Mileva grasps entirely too much about time travel and has no intention of letting her daughter go.

This is my favorite so far in the series. I didn't know anything about Einstein's first wife or their daughter, so everything the characters learned was also new to me (even though the circumstances were obviously fictionalized). What I like most about this series is that Haddix allows the content to mature with the readers.

Jonah and Katherine barely have a second to to talk to JB before they find themselves hurtling back in time again.

I‘m not a huge fan of fantasy books but I think younger me may have really enjoyed this series! It‘s more of a complex plot and doesn‘t seem very predictable so I think it‘d be a good book for a reader who‘s looking for a challenge.

This is the fifth book of the series The Missing Book. It is the story of two regular kid time travelers and them returning Albert Einstein‘s daughter back to her time. This would probably be a fun series for many kids.

Country 35: In Serbia I saw Belgrade Castle (from 535 BCE!), Church of Saint Sava, and Petrovaradin Fortress.
Caught is a time travel adventure - Einstein's secret daughter is suddenly in the wrong place, wrong time, wrong age. They have to return her to Serbia, but her mother will lose her forever if time is set right. I loved The Other Einstein and this gives more on the story of Einstein's 1st wife. 3/5
