Sometimes you fall for Mr. Right. And sometimes for Mr. Right Now May Did you hear the one about the girl who walks into a bar and catches her live-in lover kissing someone else? No? Youre the only one in town who missed it. Luckily Alec is there to wrap me up in strong arms and carry me out the door before things get too ugly. And thats not all Alec is good at. Our unexpected chemistry makes him the perfect rebound guy. Alec I should know better than to hook up with my rivals little sister, but the fiery look in Mays eyes really turns my crank. She needs cheering up, and Im just the guy for the job. Its not like Ill fall in love. Not even after a string of scorching hot trysts, and the realization that were good at the same things: wild nights and familial disappointment. I dont do love, never have, never will. So this is the perfect arrangement, for both of us. Nobody would approve, but nobody has to know For fans of: Melanie Harlow, Corinne Michaels, Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland, K. 3.5/5 the drama and angst was figured out faster and more satisfyingly than I hoped.

May catches her girlfriend cheating in Alec‘s bar and Alec carries her out before things get out of hand. He ends up helping her move out. May thinks Alec is the perfect rebound, but soon there is more than just steamy sex between them. I enjoyed this one. I laughed and cried. There are some heavier issues as May is a recovering alcoholic and both have issues with their families. This is book 5 in Bowen‘s True North series and I haven‘t read the⬇️

Bookzombie others. I will probably pick them up though. I think I have the first one my Kindle. I‘m using this for #Booked2021 #mustache on the cover. #BookspinBingo (edited) 4y

I feel like I should like Sarina Bowen‘s books more than I do so I still try the ones that call to me and this one did so I gave it a go...and abandoned it at about 20% because nothing was happening. I read another book then felt compelled to try again and I‘m glad I did. I really enjoyed the last 80%. The characters feel like real people and they were pretty adorable in figuring each other out. Still, I could‘ve done with less in the beginning.

julesG That tattoo though... 😍 6y
MarriedtoMrT @julesG Yes! And it‘s book-accurate which is an awesome plus. Love when the cover matches the story. 6y
Angieville I enjoyed this one as well. 6y
