[#BookReview] Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan. I decided to re-read this because it had been so long since I originally read it that I had forgotten most of what happened. I do recommend it as a fun fast paced summer read but it definitely didn‘t live up to my expectations. 🌊📖

This was so hard for me for a couple reasons. First of all, I usually drink based on the book I‘m reading. Coffee, tea, cider, hot chocolate, water, juice.. it all depends on when and what I‘m reading.
Right now is Lent however and I‘m off all drinks except water until April. So here is my water bottle and the book it matches! #BooksandShelfiesM18 @Amabear

Read 70 pages in one sitting. Did I expect anything else from one of my all-time favourite authors?

Such a great high suspense read! I couldn't put the book down and was captivated from page one. The struggle that Frances faces trying to shed her own persona and become Libby is truly astounding. The author did such a good job showing her internal fight with herself. The detail of the flashbacks and memories were written well and made me feel like I was experiencing everything with Frances. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I'm only 50 pages into this book but I'm really liking it. It would be a good movie!

P.S. My husband got me all sorts of socks for Christmas since I always have cold feet and I love the snowflake design on these ones. 😍
