DNF. The Scottish Highlander dialect gave me a headache. Also, I did not care for Amelia Rise's overbearing mother. Even though I enjoyed Amelia Rose and Niall, the plot was not engaging enough to make me want to finish it.

Such a delightful read! The only downside for me was the Scottish slang 😅 Thoroughly enjoyed it 😘

I LOVED this book! It was such a fun, easy read. The main characters were likeable and the development of all characters was fun to see! I cannot wait for more in the series to come out!

The romance between Niall & Amelia-Rose was nicely written because it was built on an awkward alliance that led to much more. From the start I wasn‘t thrilled with Francesca‘s character because there was no way that she could justify leaving her children for years, although, I did appreciate how clever she was towards the end. I picked up Peri from the animal hospital today. She was not very happy with me. But the surgery went well and I'm crossing my fingers for a fast and easy recovery. While she sleeps I'm starting this ARC. I haven't read a Scottish romance in a long time. #romantsy
