High Achiever: The Shocking True Story of One Addict's Double Life | Tiffany Jenkins
10 posts | 14 read | 13 to read
Tiffany Jenkins is a wife, and mother to three awesome human beings. She realized her love of writing last year when she started her blog, Juggling the Jenkins, where she writes about motherhood, addiction, marriage and adulting. Tiffany has acquired a huge social media following where her videos receive millions of views. She uses her platform to help and inspire others who are struggling with mother-hood, mental health, addiction, and those who just need a good laugh. Her articles have been featured on BLUNTmoms.com, Themighty.com and Thoughtcatalog.com, and her Blog and Face-book page have been covered on several news outlets and television programs. This year she will be celebrating five years clean and sober from drugs and alcohol. She feels that publishing a book, is a wonderful way to celebrate this milestone.

If you know of Tiffany then you‘ll appreciate her recounting of her experience being a drug addict and navigating life in and out of prison.

Reggie Before you know it, the next 3 1/2 hrs will be over Sue. I thought in 2016 the world would be over but here we are in 2025. We will make it through. Also, I walked by a river today, too. I‘m in Witchita right now. The Arkansas River, 3 miles to get some great biscuits and gravy. 2mo

Suet624 @Reggie Hi Reggie, I meant to respond earlier to your encouraging words. I can't quite get there in my heart and mind yet but I appreciate and love that you can. I hope you are well. 2mo

I only read this to fill a reading challenge (author with same name)…I‘m so glad I did! It hooked me right from the start. It‘s a raw, crazy and honest memoir
⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Suet624 I think I follow her on IG. I like her. 3y
Tiffiney @Suet624 I just started following her on IG today 😊 3y
Suet624 For some reason I forgot her name is Tiffany. She‘s having a rough time right now. I hope she feels better soon. 3y
Tiffiney @Suet624 I saw that! She looks pregnant, but isn‘t, and they can‘t seem to figure out what‘s wrong. So sad! 😢 3y
Suet624 Right... I'd be so spooked if I were her. 3y

May 28, 2022 So far, so good. I have been enjoying this autobiography by Tiffany Jenkins because she really dives deep into her drug addict experience and her perspective of being in jail. Almost half way... no regrets

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2 This book is just so good - which is weird to say about a story that is incredibly terrible. I highly recommend the audiobook. She‘s self aware and has enough hindsight to reflect well. The story is crazy and she‘s so good at ending chapters with cliffhangers so I HAD to keep reading. I read the incredible book Dopesick but this gave me insight into a personal story and increased my empathy for those going through addiction.

I. CANNOT. PUT. THIS. BOOK. DOWN.

I‘m listening to the audio, because hello, Tiffany Jenkins. She‘s so funny. This is the story of her addiction, which she‘s always been open about. I didn‘t know the details, as I have never read her blog, but damnnnnnnnnn, what a story!

Megabooks Okay, checking into this now! 6y
JenReadsAlot Amazing book!! I saw her on book tour. 6y
Reviewsbylola Ugh, I checked last night to see if there was an opportunity to see her live but it looks like she‘s sticking to the west coast for now. @JenReadsAlot 6y

This book is an autobiography that reads like fiction, I couldn‘t get enough. While I‘ve never personally struggled with addiction, I truly appreciated her openness and raw honesty. This book is perfectly wrapped in raw emotional baggage, tied up with setbacks, and sprinkled with epic comebacks. #highachieverbook #tiffanyjenkins #rawhonesty #setbacksandcomebacks #highlyrecommend #bookworm

Excited to get this in the mail today! I started reading it when it was just blog posts on her blog. When she took them down, I was bummed. I finally got around to ordering it.

Read one chapter before I had to leave for work. Bad idea. I‘m itching to get back to it!

Have you ever seen on FB videos from “Juggling the Jenkins? Her videos are about being a mom, addiction, life and anxiety. I have been following her for a while on social media and when I found out she wrote a book about her previous life as an addict, I had to get it and read it. It took me only 5 hours to read her memoir. It‘s about her opiate addiction, going to Jail, her desperate decisions, and her recovery. This is an honest and raw book.
