I just thought this passage was so funny and too real! Men don‘t want to talk about their feelings (normally) while women obsess over them lol. Made me laugh out loud!

Reading this book for work‘s book club. Laying with my husband and puppy dog. My husband was kind enough to listen to a show with headphones so we can sit together as a family while we each did what we love to do.

Aims42 Love this! My hubby also rocks the headphones if we‘re doing some separate but together hobby time 🎧🤩 9mo

I think this is quite fitting. “Which wolf will win?” “The one you feed.” Now, that can apply to any situation, whether it is about society, race, or even depression.

I always wanted to read this book, and I got to do so for my work book club. It is a pick for me, but I was slightly disappointed in the ending. I thought it was too predictable. But it offered good lessons for everyone to live by.

I thought this book portrayed mother-daughter relationships very well. It‘s rare that I read books of that family dynamic, but it was a beautiful change of pace.

My husband had to leave for a business trip this morning, so Sawyer and I are enjoying the fresh air, while we can (until it storms again). I‘m starting this book so I can watch the movie on Netflix, while Sawyer starts a new bone to chew on.

Although a lot of people didn‘t like it and thought it was predictable and smut chiclit, I enjoyed the romance story. Yes, it was predictable, but I thought the plot line was cute. I wish I would have waited until December to read it though, lol

After falling in love with the television series, I am finally going to begin the book series. I have almost all of the novels in the series. A friend of my mother‘s gave them to me because she knew I loved the show.

Texreader I hope you enjoy them. Book 1 is great. I had mixed reactions after that for awhile but I recommend sticking with it. They get better as you go along! Have fun!! 4y
BibliophileLibrarian Thank you!! I hope so too!! 4y

Just not for me. I thought I would give it a shot. I was told that it was slower than the following books written by Louise Penny. I finished it, but I‘m not sure if I‘ll read other titles by her.

You know it‘s a good story when you completely forget about the dishes soaking in the sink and how tired you really are after a long week of working. I came home last night, sat on the couch, and didn‘t get up until I finished this romance.

So I finally finished the series. (I still have to read Before, but I read the After series after many months of frustration and emotional turmoil I got from this series. Someone said that it felt like a train wreck: you wanted to look away, but you couldn‘t. That‘s how I felt about this series. The characters frustrated me, but I had to see where the plot went. I‘m glad I finished it and I‘m curious to read Before.

blank I hate Before the most. It just seems really pointless. 4y
BibliophileLibrarian That‘s good to know. Thank you for that 😊 I still might give it a try, but I‘ll see if I‘ll stick with it. I have requested it from the Library Libby and it says it will take 9 weeks to get to me. I may change my mind by then lol 4y

Although I am still working through several titles, I have decided that I need a designated bedtime read, which needs to be one of my personal books, just in case I must return the library borrows before it‘s finished. I have owned this book for quite some time, and I thought now would be a good time to read it. Also, it is something jolly to read before bed.

The only reason I am continuing to read this series is because I want and need to see how it ends. It‘s obviously fan fiction and the writing isn‘t great, but I am attached to the story. It has taken me awhile to get through it because the characters are melodramatic and annoying at times, so I put the book down. I will finish the series once I receive the library ebook.

I thought this book was clever, a quick-read, and laugh out loud funny. Chelsea has become a workaholic and needs to find her laughter and love again so she retraces her steps of her gap year abroad to look up her past loves in three lovely countries: Ireland, Italy, and Paris. This trip will teach Chelsea that to find happiness is to find it within herself. Great travel novel!!
