Rolling Dice
Rolling Dice | Beth Reekles
8 posts | 1 to read
The second cool, sexy YA romance novel from seventeen-year-old Wattpad sensation and author of The Kissing Booth, Beth Reekles. They say that the higher you climb, the harder you fall - and Madison Clarke will do anything to keep her new life from crumbling to pieces. Moving from a small town in Maine to Florida, Madison grasps the opportunity to reinvent herself, to forget about those days of being a lonely, loser outcast, and jumps at the chance when the popular kids decide to take her under their wing. A hot boyfriend, parties, friends... If only there wasn't the slight problem by the name of Dwight, a cute, funny and totally nerdy guy in Madison's physics class who she can't help but enjoy spending time with. Running from her past and stumbling through the present, who knows what lies ahead in this new life in Florida?

I tried doing the #Roll100 last year, but due to my reading slump I didn‘t get far. Here is my second attempt. Looking forward to getting some of my shelved books read.

December‘s #roll100 picks are up! Even though I have a perfect track record of reading all #roll100 selections through October (!!!), I‘m not gonna lie- I feel myself slowing down with my reading and I‘m not sure how strong I‘m gonna finish the year. I‘ll give it my best shot all the same 🤞. Thanks, as always, @PuddleJumper !

Ruthiella OMG! A perfect track record? Awesome. I‘m only at 10% ! 😂 2y
PuddleJumper November is such a bad month for me in terms of reading. I'm hoping I'll perk up in December with some fluffy reads 2y
sarahbellum @Ruthiella I know, wild! 🙀 I‘ve really been trying to read down the titles that have been on my TBR the longest, so my #roll100 list is the first 100 books on my GR TBR, sorted by date added. I guess you can say I‘ve been successful! 2y

Here are my #roll100 selections for November! 🎲

I will most likely listen to Nickel and Dimed on audio- I‘ll be stitching up a storm and will need lots of things to listen to 🎧

I have no idea how My Name is Red got on my radar 🤷🏻‍♀️

Even though details are fuzzy, I remember watching The Ice Storm as a teen and enjoying it. The timing for this one is perfect since it takes place over Thanksgiving 🦃

Thanks, as always, @PuddleJumper ! ☺️

Bookwormjillk It‘s a great audiobook 2y

The spooky October dice selected two Ray Bradbury titles for me, so I switched one of them out for a different book 👻. Here‘s what I have to look forward to next month for #roll100:
#100 is The Martian Chronicles
#6 is The Tribes of Palos Verdes (chance of DNF is >50% since I added this as a teenager)
#71 is In Defense of Food

Thanks, as always, @PuddleJumper !

Yay! June #roll100 picks got posted early (enjoy your travels, @PuddleJumper !)

#15 is Virgins (the second book set in a Catholic school that the dice have chosen for me 😆)
#56 is The Kin of Ata are Waiting for You (apparently a new age-y trip?)
#62 is Life of Pi (probably the last person on Earth to read this!)

I don‘t remember where I heard about Virgins and The Kin- they‘ve been on my TBR since I was a teenager. Hopefully no more bails 🤞

PuddleJumper Looks awesome! (Thanks, hoping to get some reading done on the train!) 3y

Happy #roll100 day! Looks like May is going to be an interesting reading month. Also, all the covers match nicely with their dice! 🤩

54 is The Birds Fall Down
85 is Three Cups of Tea (I‘m curious about the controversy surrounding this one)
96 is Winesburg, Ohio

PuddleJumper They do, that's so cool! 😂 3y
