so-soThis was definitely a modern spin on the classic Nancy Drew stories. It was interesting, but it felt completely different from the originals. I enjoyed the art work.

pickI read this June 16 and gave it 4 ⭐️ on Good Reads. I really liked this modern reboot. The art is cute and although the mystery could have been a little more mysterious, it was a fun read that has reminded me of how much I liked Nancy Drew as a kid.
so-soI like the artwork in this book; there is nice hair. But Nancy is unpleasant. She drops her two friends when she returns to her hometown. She hasn‘t talked to her hometown friends in years. She doesn‘t tell her friends the truth. She doesn‘t check in, her friends panic. She lets friends do chores around her without helping. Maybe the series gets better.
pickThis Nancy Drew update is so good. I love plus size Bess. Queer George and George‘s gf is super cute. Look at Nancy Drew! A style icon. pickIf I had to describe this comic in a word: delightful. I never read Nancy Drew as a kid so I'm not as familiar with the characters / how they're being reimagined, but I loved these spunky, crime-solving teens. Gave me some excellent Veronica Mars vibes, and I absolutely can't wait to read more.
