RIP Val Kilmer
I really liked this. The back cover book blurb info is a little misleading, but I can't say how without giving a spoiler. The writing was good with the exception of one scene that I felt was longer than it needed to be. There are a lot of twists and turns. I hope the new Disney channel show is based on the books after reading this one. Now I will start book 2 in the trilogy, Shadow Dawn. (Picture not Elora.) #fantasybooks
I've just started this and already my heart is so freaking happy! (Edited to add: The prologue was happy. Chapter 1 shows it gets dark fast.)
When I learned these existed I knew I had to have them. Willow is one of my all time favorite movies. (Madmartigan was so funny! Am I right?) These are the continuation of Princess Elora's journey. Hopefully they don't suck, but if they do it is still kinda cool that these were even written.
“Willow Ufgood, now there‘s a name I haven‘t heard... in a very long time.”
Of *course* they would put a Star Wars reference in the Willow book. #372Pages
Just got my copy of Shadow Moon to read along with the #372Pages podcast. It‘s a comedy podcast about reading books that we (probably) won‘t enjoy. Let‘s see what I‘ve gotten myself into...
More unauthorized book buying.
On a nostalgia kick right now (or always) and have been thinking about 80s fantasy films. I love Willow and somehow never read these follow up books! Luckily the local used bookstore had them all.
Having a used bookstore within walking distance is not going to be good for my budget.
