#worst6reads. Except for the David Spade all are two stars meaning I read them but am not sure why. The Spade is OMG what was I thinking! one star because I suffered through it. I think I tried to broaden my horizon a little farther a field than I need to go.

@SaturnDoo

SaturnDoo I listened to the audio of The Winter People, I didn't care for it much either. Lady Susan is on my TBR but I will be cautious with it 😊 thanks for your warning ❤ I haven't read any of the Sue Grafton series...have you read all the others and liked them? 5y
SaturnDoo Forgot to say thank you for posting 🤗😊❤ 5y
Deblovestoread @SaturnDoo I have read all the Grafton except the last Y is for Yesterday. Like most series it started out good and then lost a little something as it went on but I like the protagonist. 5y

Mehso-so

#whydidithavetobeme Dick Kitchel was a senior in high school in 1967 when he disappeared one night after a party. His badly beaten body was pulled from a local river a few days later. The case remains unsolved. Author Rebecca Morris was also a senior at Dick‘s school when he was killed. The murder was pretty straightforward and the suspected culprit almost undoubtedly guilty. The flow of the book could have been more cohesive though. #abbainaugust

Meredith3 Aw man I was excited for this when I first started reading your review until I got to the end 😹💀 6y
emilyhaldi I knew you‘d come up with a solid murder mystery for this prompt 👏🏻 6y
Reviewsbylola The book is broken up in three sections. The murder, “the aftermath”, and modern day. The aftermath section is really just 1968 and the end of senior year. It had nothing to do with Dick‘s murder. It was still good, but unexpected. @meredith3 6y

Murder in My Hometown | Rebecca Morris

This was an interesting book. But there was a lot about how she grew up, the town and her parents. It was interesting, but it didn't have anything to do with the murder.
