Simple and straightforward, I'd call this novella fine!

So its wasn't bad. Just a bit predictable and well again its just not fair for me to say “so-so“ because this is totally out of my wheel-house. I like my romance with a twist (paranormal, horror, mystery) something but anyway it was a “cute little book“ #HolidayRead

This one was one that was recommended in one of the quizzes I took for #FallBackIntoReading . It looks like a really quick cute book. Also having a current kindle book is helpful too!

Ridiculous, sweet, satisfying. What‘s not to love? Plus inflatable T-Rex costume! Instant winner! I think my only complaint is that it‘s too short. 4/5
Super cute! I really enjoyed this heartwarming holiday #romantsy, although a casual sounding 1st person present POV isn't always my fave. The T-Rex costume is cute and all, but the best part for me? The MCs have the same uni degree as my husband - maybe even from the same year 😂 So I've decided these characters were his classmates. And I think I have to read more of Lau's stuff, in case of any more references.
This was a sweet Romance, and included a hero wearing those inflatable T-rex costumes. 🦖
Time to read this sweet novella for book club!
I‘m glad I made time for this romance novella about two longtime friends who get snowed in together. They do tons of Christmassy stuff (and dress up like T-Rexes) as they fight their growing attraction and figure out how to change the nature of their relationship. It ain‘t deep, but it sure is sweet.
It‘s still free as of December 19th, 2019, too, if you want to add an Asian-Canadian holiday romance to your weekend.
I was doing an awesome job of not adding stuff to La TBR this month—until Jackie Lau made the tagged book free and KJ Charles discounted two of hers to $0.99.
Oh well.
