I do like spending time with Rowly Sinclair, and his community of artist-friends in 1920s Sydney. This is a prequel novella to the series- we learn how they became friends. There‘s a crime-mystery element, but you‘re hardly aware of it until after the event. The place/politics of the time are so well done, & I‘ve loved exploring Sydney virtually. Oh, I have a voucher - maybe I‘ll buy book 2 in print. (Main gripe with this one - not enough of it!)
