It isn‘t that this was bad. It just wasn‘t that exciting either. Most of the book felt deterministic in a way, even though Wood spent time telling that habits do not decide everything in your life, and they are possible to change. I had hoped for something more, which I didn‘t get. 🤷♀️

Good Habits, Bad Habits is a good overview of the current thinking and science of using habits to improve your life. I would recommend as a primer to anyone new to these ideas. However, as someone who reads a fair amount of self-help, there was nothing new to the information or presentation of these ideas here. #netgalley
