I guess at the end of the day, my personal meh-ness about GNs remains. I‘m glad GNs exist as I know many people enjoy them. But I still prefer to read a novel, which has the time and room to really build a world and magic system. I also prefer to use my own imagination to visualize the characters and world instead of seeing the author (or really artist‘s) vision.

This October #bookspin was ok- I‘m not sure what I did not like about it, I think it felt like a lot of important information and consistency was missing- if anyone has read it and is willing to discuss I‘d be grateful - it may be there were nuances in a GN I missed.

Well I stopped by a bookstore to start my #basicwitchswap shopping and ended up coming out with these three books. Bought a couple books for the basicwitchswap (not pictured here) but it is clear I'll have to do some shopping online. I just hope I can get stuff here on time - to ship on time - so they receive on time!
