Oops! I wasn‘t going to buy any more books 📚 for awhile, but when they happen to be on my #tbr at a #thriftstore - 🤷🏻‍♀️ you get today‘s #bookhaul 😇 It‘s like they were waiting for me. 💕

The novel is undeniably full of emotions- one time I am laughing with the narrative, and then without notice, I'm crying about the scene. That is how great the story is. It really appeals to the readers‘ emotions. My whole reading process of this novel has been fresh, smooth, and very wonderful that I could not ask for more. I only hope that more readers got to read this fantastic story because it is really worth a read. Ciao!

I read Divine Secrets first, not realizing that there was an entire series. I think this book is a prequel? Anyway, while I admired Wells's ability to write multiple voices, I have to admit that this ruined Divine Secrets's memory for me a little. We see a side of Vivi that I intensely dislike... and I think the overall handling of alcoholism in this novel is poor. It's regarded with an alarming almost-flippant attitude.
