What a delightful read!
Reading the afternoon away.. time well spent with this unique book!
My mother was adopted in 1962. Then almost right after her mother got pregnant and ended up have three biological children of her own. Leaving my mom as the odd one out. My mother was herself sent away at 17 to give birth to her daughter in 1980, and gave her up for adoption. We later found her! And I do not know my father but was adopted by my brothers father! Adoption is deeply woven in my family story! I‘m reading to understand my moms pain.
Started this today! I‘ve heard mixed reviews, but it‘s on my #100bucketlistbooks poster! So I had to mix it in!
Fancy Coffee and Tea cups make me anxious! This is one of the many reasons I LOVE big mugs! 🤣
Today‘s book haul.. Needed some retail therapy after putting our dog to sleep today. RIH TYSON One from my TBR, One I had on my wish list, One I had never heard of and One from my 100 bucketlist books!
Anyone here a product of one or two messed up parents? I feel I like to read of other dysfunctional families, so I don‘t feel alone. Many times I feel better about my own because it wasn‘t as bad as it could have been.
Thinking ahead.. Any suggestions for holiday books would be welcome!
This book is soo far not scary at all... I hope it gets better...
This book is soo good! I just feel terrible that this was her real life!
Started this one today! I have no idea who she is, but the book seemed motivational!
I totally bailed!! I guess I‘m more a donkey.. I thought some of her ideas were valid, but it‘s ok to be comfortable and not always make yourself uncomfortable.. guess I‘ll just keep living my half donkey half unicorn life!
Can‘t wait to dig in! I barely know who the author is, but the book sounds great and the cover is 😍
My husband put up my Little Free Library!!!! 😍😍📚📚
