Thoroughly enjoying this book.
Max Tudor climbs the bell tower at Monksbury Abbey & discovers a bell with a crack in it. Immediately his mind meanders to Leonard Cohen‘s famous song, Hallelujah‘ which in turn has Max thinking: ‘How the light gets in—the words ended the Cohen stanza. He recalled it as the title of a recent popular book.‘ The book he is alluding to is Louise Penny‘s book, How the Light Gets In, published in 2014, the same year as the tagged book. 🔽

I am trying to alternate book for buddy reads, library book, book from my TBR.
I am so grateful I did not work this summer- I usually do . I was just so burnt out…now I feel relaxed & ready to face HS on Monday. #teachersoflitsy
Almost a pan. This one was just SO LONG! The Poirot style reveal was like 6 chapters! It was this person but not really, it was this person.
I really want to like this series because it has so many elements I like. But I haven‘t enjoyed the last 2 books and this is book 4. I really like Max and his journey but is it worth it?
The fourth in the #MaxTudor #cozymystery series was just as enjoyable! And the audiobooks are on #Hoopla, so it‘s a win!
Its really hot here (well for England) so I'm reading s summer appropriate book on the train today!
