Got in a little reading (Star Trek: Deep Space nine #fanfic for the curious) before the alarm went off. My #cyoreadathon has begun! Now to get through work so I can get to the fun stuff planned this weekend 🙂.

I've done it again. I barely have time to read any more and I've gone and spent all of my reading time for the last week in a fanfic binge. Fun, it's true, but I have a bajillion books I want to read! Time to refocus.

Tonight a six year fandom friendship exploded, a "friendship" that was one of the reasons I walked away from fandom in the first place because I don't, and will NEVER, understand why ship-hating exists. So I wanted to thank all of YOU, my dear Littens, for keeping this space drama free. It's so wonderful to have a space where nothing matters except a mutual love of books.
Between working, the Cubs celebration downtown, and celebrating my birthday today, I am pooped. Ringing in another year with some fanfic before hitting the hay. Here's to another year of geeking out over books with fun, smart people.
