I really want a variety of books in my Little Free Library so I was pleased to find two that I had already read. The Michigan Chillers book was borrowed by my 12 year old as soon as I got home.

I was so so so excited to read this one. It sounded really intriguing and had 100% review. To be honest I couldn‘t get into it and I found it a little bit boring until the last quarter🤷🏼‍♀️

Sooooo good!!! A beautiful story. Six year old Gretel Schmidt narrowly escapes from a train bound for Auschwitz. Jacob finds her and their story from there kept me making excuses to get away to listen. (Audiobook)

I accidentally grabbed another work of fiction set during World War II. I seem to have a thing for nazi-lit. I liked the cover and title, and knew nothin of the setting when I picked it. I love when great books find me with little effort on my part.

Yet another #bookhaul this time from #goodwill

There's an #Audies2017 category for those who looking for faith-based fiction. Based on the finalists I want to point out that these awards are for those published between approximately October 2015 and September 2016. The actual books could have been published earlier. In some cases much earlier.

A woman at work raved about this book on Friday and then it was a kindle deal yesterday. Guess it's a sign that I need to read it!

Day12 #readjanuary #girlinthetitle Here's just a sampling of my "Girl" in the title books. The top three I read and reviewed and the bottom three are recent TBR book adds from my Kindle.

There were elements of this story that I really, really liked. The characters were great. The dialogue was wonderfully real. There were important, quotable moments...

Rating would have been higher, but it's such a shame the English translation is not better. I wish I could read Afrikaans, because I feel like there would be much more dimension to the narrative in the original language. I just feel the translation did a poor credit to it.
