My #bookspin and #doublespin for June. Joel Saladin keeps popping up in other books I‘ve read about eating locally grown food. And farmers market season is in full swing here so I‘m hoping to try some of Madison‘s recipes. @TheAromaofBooks

This book is basically one big middle finger to government! 🖕If only more people would stand by their local farmers and tell the government to get rid of their overbearing red tape let more people farm like this genius, then we wouldn‘t have to worry so much about global warming, top soil erosion or a host of other problems. Great read!

Leslie_Ak2Oh It‘s sad how far we‘ve fallen. I wonder when we‘ll wake up.... 4y

How much evil throughout history could have been avoided had people exercised their moral acuity with convictional courage and said to the powers that be, 'No, I will not. This is wrong, and I don't care if you fire me, shoot me, pass me over for promotion...I will not participate in this unsavory activity.' Wouldn't world history be rewritten if just a few people had actually acted like individual free agents rather than mindless lemmings?
