This one can be a stand alone but be forewarned, there are some nasty scenes involving animals.

Book #9 in the agent Pendergast series was another unique mystery. There were some twists in here that I was not expecting. And the side stories throughout are always compelling. The epilogue left a teaser that has me eager to rush into the next book.

Today's haul from the library bookstore! Bottom two are a surprise for my husband! The tagged book was recommended by the librarian. Anyone read any Preston Child? She said they are all good! This one sounded interesting so I brought it home!
