so thankful for Litsy and the beautiful energy shared by @BookwormAHN @Gissy @sprainedbrain 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
1. A cup of tea or coffee, a cozy blanket in winter, a candle that smells like campfire, a good book or the movie Pride and Prejudice or a walk when I‘m able.
2. Sending blessings to @BethM @Bookzombie @cobwebmoth @Avanders @mabell @MeganAnn

Chrissyreadit @sprainedbrain @Meaw_catlady @monalyisha I‘m wondering if you ladies would have any good resources for solstice celebrations? Or favorite recipes? We are celebrating solstice this year and I‘m trying to become traditional with it. We had wassail last year that was a huge hit. 4y
sprainedbrain @Chrissyreadit I am so sorry... totally missed this comment until now! I‘m a solo witch, which only seems to bother me at holidays when I think it would be so cool to go to a Yule or solstice party with a bunch of witches. 😉 I always decorate with a holiday tree, lots mistletoe, holly, evergreen and pinecones. On the night of solstice, we turn off the lights, light lots of candles, eat soup and crusty bread, and play cards or board games. (edited) 4y
sprainedbrain @Chrissyreadit As usual, I do my rituals by myself, although my 16-year-old daughter is getting sort of interested, and my 8-year-old boy likes to hang around just because he thinks it‘s funny when I am witchy. 😂 We don‘t celebrate Christmas per se, but we do burn a Yule candle all night Christmas Eve and exchange gifts, and of course we go to lots of family Christmas parties. Wassailing sounds so fun! 4y
Chrissyreadit @sprainedbrain thank you! My teens are more interested in solstice. Last year we had a fire outside too. I like soup and bread. That may be my go to plan. 4y
sprainedbrain @Chrissyreadit I have a pretty serious stick pile outside... we may have an outside fire, too! 4y
Chrissyreadit @sprainedbrain I only dabble right now, I go back and forth with belief in general but I love tradition, I walked away from Christian and my kids are atheist but my daughter is interested in Wicca and I was too at her age. I think it is the right path for having traditions and loving the earth and recognizing that we all give and receive energy. So I‘m embracing the path to learn. 4y
sprainedbrain @Chrissyreadit I agree with you completely! I love how freeing it feels to believe what we feel, and how wholesome and full of love a more ‘pagan‘ path is. 4y
