The Honeymoon Effect
The Honeymoon Effect: The Science of Creating Heaven on Earth | Bruce Lipton
2 posts | 2 read | 2 to read
The Honeymoon Effect: A state of bliss, passion, energy and health resulting from a huge love. Your life is so beautiful that you can't wait to get up to start a new day and you thank the Universe that you are alive In his new book, bestselling author of The Biology of Belief, Bruce H. Lipton, PhD, asks readers to think back on the most spectacular love affair of their lives - the Big One that toppled them head over heels. It was a time when they were exuberantly healthy, when they were overflowing with energy, when they were loving their lives so much they couldn't wait to bound out of bed in the morning to experience more. It was the 'Honeymoon Effect' that was to last forever. Lipton explains that this 'Honeymoon Effect' was not a chance event but a personal creation. Just as important, he explains why honeymoons are so often short lived. This book describes how readers manifested the Honeymoon Effect and the reasons they lost it in their lives. That knowledge empowers them to create the honeymoon again, this time in a way that ensures a happily-ever-after relationship that even a Hollywood producer would love. With authority, eloquence and an easy-to-read style, Lipton covers the influence of quantum physics (good vibrations), biochemistry (love potions), and psychology (the conscious and subconscious minds) in creating and sustaining juicy loving relationships. He also asserts that if we use the 50 trillion cells that live harmoniously in every human body as a model, we can create not just honeymoon relationships for two, but also a 'super organism' called humanity that can heal our planet.

A great short read! This cell biologist presents the science behind being in love. We are not controlled by our DNA… instead it‘s our environment that either makes us grow or makes us shrink.

I am going on my honeymoon next month for 3 weeks and don‘t know what to do for reading material!!! 📚 Do I load up my suitcase with books? Do I load up my iPad with e-books and hope my battery charge lasts?! We have long flights and lots of car time! Ahh the decisions!! Suggestions welcome!

kezzlou85 Bit of both maybe. Take some books and your iPad. Then you have both options. 7y
Cinfhen Congrats 💕💕💕 7y
BookNAround I took an obscene number of books on my honeymoon. Luckily my husband knew about my book problem long before he married me. 😂 Just a little grumbling about the weight of my suitcase but 22 years later, we're still married. 😀 7y

Laughterhp @BookNAround Haha glad to know it‘s not just me bringing books on my honeymoon! Yes, my husband knows about my book problem too!! 7y
Avanders Yeah congrats! ❣️ I‘d recommend both. A few books, a kindle/iPad, and maybe download a few audio books onto a phone for the car rides? (Using Overdrive, Libby, or hoopla for free audio books from your library, of course....) 7y
