I watched the 1947 version of this yesterday. I didn't even know it was a Christmas movie.

1. I don‘t remember for sure, but it was no later than age 7. My great aunt ran the library!
2. I‘m constantly stalking my holds online, but I go in person pretty often too.
3. At least weekly! I do both spontaneous drop-ins and planned visits.
4. I remember! It was kind of a PITA then, but I‘d love to have one of those cabinets now.
5. Usually just a few items, but today I loaded up on Christmas movies to watch over the holiday.
Ok, so just looked it up and A Bishop's Wife IS based on a book #booktoscreen Who knew??! Not me! 😂 this is the remake, A Preacher's wife, which is not as good as the OG but daaaaamn Denzel is so damn charming! A close 2nd to Carey Grant 💜💜 And I love Whitney Houston, such a shame she passed so early on in her life 😢 I'm currently shipping her and Denzel hard!!

Hands down this is my favorite Christmas movie.
My daughters friends would groan when we were going to watch a black and white Christmas movie (I mean who does that) - but quite a few have messaged me now that they are away at college wanting to know the name of the sweet Christmas movie!
(I have never read the book it is based on. GASP)
