Today's entry in a month of spine poetry.

For #riotgrams, three covers I adore.

The stunning, unusual About a Girl by Sarah McCarry. Myth, magic, and bicoastal comings of age. Reviewed on my blog!

It took a while to get used to the style in this one but eventually I flowed through it. Perhaps a bit more advanced than your typical ya but recommended!

This book caught me off guard several times with little surprises. I liked the story and characters, and the twisting of the plot. I liked the contrast between Tally's home life in NYC, and the country she got to experience on her journey. And of course crows are always a plus!

My #24in48 prize came today! These socks are so cool! Thanks again to everyone involved, I loved participating in the readathon!

Library holds came in, and I had a few, so I'm setting aside my current read to dig into this.

I absolutely adored this book.... Finally a book with LGBT relationships in it where it was woven in naturally instead of forced upon the reader... There was even a mix of magic but the underlying themes of home, self identity, and family were never lost. I want to lose myself in this story over and over again.

i'm reorganizing my books, and this might be my favorite new stack. only seems right that the badass ladies are together.
