⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 🌟 (3.5/5)
A lot of my reading was getting intense, so I was in need of a palette cleanser. This did the trick. It was a bit predictable, but I enjoyed watching it unfold. It was a lighthearted and pleasant read.

I‘m posting one book per day from my ever-increasing TBR. No description. No explanation. Just books to read. Join the fun if you want.

I was hoping for a fun romantic comedy, like the one that obviously served as inspiration for it: Groundhog Day. But it wasn't. Instead, it was the story of a girl who's lost herself in all the things people expect from her. This could be a great topic, but unfortunately Ellie was an annoying main character: shallow, not a fast learner, and never even considering just being herself until the last moment. The ending does make up for a lot though.
6/10 I pretty much figured out the plot by the second Monday. It was still fun to see how it all played out though.
In the midst of some dark days, this is an amusing light read. Ellie gets a do-over, ala "Groundhogs Day" to try to prevent her boyfriend from breaking up with her. And in repeating one Monday over and over, she figures out what really is important. Funny, and her playlists all rocked golden oldies from the 60s. ?
