What happens when the one that got away comes back? Find out in this sparkling debut from Mhairi McFarlane. Think of the great duos of history. We're just like them. You mean like Kylie and Jason? Torvill and Dean? Sonny and Cher?I think youve missed the point, Rachel. Rachel and Ben. Ben and Rachel. It was them against the world. Until it all fell apart. Its been a decade since they last spoke, but when Rachel bumps into Ben one rainy day, the years melt away. Theyd been partners in crime and the best of friends. But life has moved on: Ben is married. Rachel is not. Yet in that split second, Rachel feels the old friendship return. And along with it, the broken heart shes never been able to mend. Hilarious, heartbreaking and everything in between, youll be hooked from their first hello.

I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!

taking summer classes so i haven't had much time to read, but just got some new books in from an online instagram bookstore that i've been buying from for a number of months now. i like it because she sells a variety of different books that i normally wouldn't look for or find on my own. hope y'all are enjoying lots of books and relaxation this summer!

tpixie Oh wow. Read the other titles. Great #bookhaul 7y

This is a story of the one that got away and although yes you do sort of see the ending coming from early on, it still kept me enthralled throughout. I really loved both of the main characters and would definitely recommend this book.

Oh goodness I read this book in a day 😆 It was funny, it was lovely, it was sad, it hit home in the feels about growing up and hitting a certain age. Loved the characters, I highly recommend this book! 😊❤️📖👍🏻

This book was just okay for me. I liked the plot and the alternating chapters that went back and forth in time. The dialect was more Brit than I've read in a long time and I struggled with that. Pretty predictable ending, but it was the one I wanted so I was okay with that.
