About 18 years ago, I had a heart attack. I was really down. Nothing made me want to be present in the world. Until one night I saw a picture of this pool that Dale Chihuly created. I figured if something that beautiful existed, I had to stick around. So, Happy National Sea Shell day, Chihuly style

Soscha I love decorative glass. Chihuly is a master. I've read quite a few books of his works but sadly never seen any in person. Atlantis the Palm would be 1st on my list though. 10y

queerbookreader Chihuly is so bomb. I live about 2 hrs from Corning Museum of Glass in NYS and his displays are amazing. There's also one at the theater in my city. Tbh I'm also a fan of Pyrex, and last summer they had a whole Pyrex exhibit and there were beautiful pieces shown 😍 Thank you for sharing your story! 10y

8leagueboot My brother lives in St Louis and I have twice now made the pilgrimage to the Botanical Gardens to see Chihuly's installation in the lobby and his Walla Walla Onions in the reflection pool. 10y
