Haven't read this classic in years. Great to revisit it after so much time! Bizarre, but riveting.

What a fantastic book! Sort of dystopian but not overly so. What happens to Southern California and the southwest when sand and drought take over? This story could be way too real. Loving this book.

I can't put this book down. So well written! (that's my doxie sniffing it)

A John Irving I haven't read! Looking forward to diving into this one. "Thoroughly modern, accessibly brainy, hilariously eccentric, and beautifully human."

Picked this up today, looking forward to starting it. Kurt Vonnegut called it "The Great Gatsby of my generation."

I guess I'm in a YA mood lately. Picked these three up today. Starting with The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Great so far!

Pickpick

This is the best book I've read, so far, this year. It's lengthy in 800+ pages, it's harrowing, and I guess one would say, depressing. But I thought it was brilliant and I couldn't put it down.

LianneB On my TBR. Thanks for the review. 8y
