My daughter helped transform our porch from a mud room/catch-all area for sports equipment into a fun place to relax! I see lots of reading getting done here!!

Jackie‘s husband dies and she takes their son to spend the Simm with her parents. There, they spend time healing and coming to terms with their grief. Jackie finds herself questioning her future when her son is unhappy about returning home. Meanwhile, Jackie‘s parents wonder if their own marriage can be saved after 11 years apart.

Audiobook made for a nice diversion while driving. Good, but not great, book.

I really enjoyed this book. Sweet with a little sad mixed in. A great summer beach read.

Good fast reading for days in the pool. Jackie‘s husband dies in NYC and she takes her son Charlie to Sullivan‘s island to move away for a bit to go back to the South and her family. Love summer southern reads🐠

Beautiful weather last few days. I've been so busy digging in the dirt, I only read 3 Chapters of this before Book Club. Afterwards just couldn't get into it. Maybe another time? Bailing for now.

Spring is definitely here so we got our porch ready for reading! Including a comfy new loveseat. I'll be spending a lot of time here!

I haven't read any Dorthea Benton Frank books in quite a while. This one reminded me how much I enjoy her. I have some catching up to do.

Listening to books at work helps the hours go by. Right now enjoying Porch Lights after finishing Finding Jake this morning.
