Current audiobook.... Working from home for two weeks while I quarantine. How odd that that doesn‘t even seem weird anymore.

IamIamIam We were watching The Zoo yesterday and all I could think of was how close everyone was and they had no masks! Lol... be well!!! 4y
SkeletonKey @IamIamIam - I think that every time I‘m watching a show now 😂 4y
IamIamIam @SkeletonKey I stacked this too, btw... it looks fascinating and I'm sure a friend of mine would love it too, if he hasn't already read it! 4y
SkeletonKey @IamIamIam - It has been extremely interesting! ...not only from a psychological point of view but also just the history of what we think about depression. 4y

Since I don't really read memoirs I tagged an interesting biography instead.
1. & 2. I always vote as it is my right to make my voice heard at the ballot box. I'm most definitely voting this year! Remember: "If you don't vote then you don't get to complain!" ?
3. Finally getting my hands on some facial products!
#ThankfulThursday @Cosmos_Moon Thank you @AmyG for the tag!

Cosmos_Moon_River 👏👏👏 for voting! We have an old friend who has become estranged from us and his own brother, who never has voted, doesn‘t pay taxes (works for cash only), but complains and sadly hates us now for our political views. He has gone off the deep end... you can complain, but it‘s not logical. (edited) 4y
AmyG Agree. Don‘t complain....VOTE! 4y
Lreads @Cosmos_Moon I never meant to offend and I'm sorry. I guess it's only a saying around here. I should know better than to post when I'm half asleep. 4y

Cosmos_Moon_River Oh no, you didn‘t offend at all. I was just on a tangent of an old friend who did and continues to offend 🥰 4y
Lreads @Cosmos_Moon Oh good! I was so worried! ☺️💕 4y
Cosmos_Moon_River 🥰 no worries, and I agree with you on the no complaining allowed if you don‘t vote 😉 just grateful for your voting and do this so we can all reflect on the good things. Sorry my tangent worried you. Have a great day! 4y
Lreads @Cosmos_Moon You have a great day, too! ☺️ 4y
Bklover I read this book years ago- I remember really enjoying it. I think you are the first person I‘ve met who has read it too! 4y

Pickpick

Having just read "Lincoln: Biography of a Writer" by Fred Kaplan, I found that a lot of the information contained in this book was also contained in Kaplan's book. In fact they even use most of the same historical quotes throughout the books.
Not a bad by any means in fact it's very good book. I just kind of wish that I would have read them separately instead of back to back.

Of course I had to take this picture in the Lincoln Memorial gift shop. Wouldn't you Litsyians have also 😊? Didn't buy any but the tagged title seems especially interesting. (Picture was cropped while posting)
