Chaseb I love all these donkey books! I agree that they make for a fun read aloud with all the rhyming and word play! I think once a student reads one, they will definitely be encouraged to read the others! I‘ve done the same and bought them one by one on Amazon! Such great books! 4y

I love to hear that students are building their classroom library‘s with quality, fun books like this! Fostering the love of reading at the elementary level is vital to student success. Wonky Donky has a child, it was a little girl...
Lots of silly word-play, incredibly fun to read. And it‘s dedicated to the Scottish Granny. It did make me laugh! But I‘m not sure I‘d buy it for a little one (gender stereotypes ahoy, with her beautiful eyelashes and painting her hoofs pink)

Craig Smith's follow up to the hilarious Wonky Donkey is another all-out winner! My daughter loves the kind of word play that is the signature style of these books & reading it aloud is an absolute joy. I challenge you not to laugh 😂😂😂 It's playful, quirky & is helping my 5 year old develop a love for language - qualities sometimes missing from her set reading books at school. Cute illustrations too.

Rachelleleduc Esol 16- this website has an idea for the teacher to read the book and turn it into a song. Singing the book actually selves deeper into the idea that music helps students learn. They are able to retain words better and expressions allowing their language skills to enhance! 5y
