Rated this ‘pick‘ because it was a real page-turner so from that point of view a success. The author also has a great imagination and I didn‘t guess what the ‘sacrament‘ was. It was also total hogwash! Thinly veiled pop at Vatican. At beginning I could feel author writing. Not sure I ever warmed to chapters never more than 4 pages, sometimes less than 1. Don‘t think I‘ll read the sequel but I don‘t regret reading this, just wouldn‘t re-read it.
Should possibly have saved Night Circus for today‘s theme, but cannot recommend strongly enough The Sanctus Trilogy by Simon Toyne. Such a great reading experience and quite unique books as well. What are you waiting for? You won‘t regret it. #UniqueRead #ANewChapter
Day 12 - #adventrecommends
If you haven‘t read this trilogy yet - you need to! This was a great read. Packed full with history, mystery, intriguing characters and an exciting plot. It was a fast-paced read that kept me interested until the final page. This trilogy would make an excellent movie. If you enjoy reading Steve Berry or James Rollins books, I'm sure you will enjoy Simon Toyne's books too.

Day 28 #sinister quotsymay18 #may
The brilliant Sancti trilogy starts off with a man climbing to the top of a mountain, having escaped from the monastery below, and throwing himself off the mountain in front of cameras and many witnesses. Why? What ramifications would this have for the world and world religion? #mandown
In case I was too subtle & you didn't pick it up, I loved everything about this trilogy. If you haven't read it, or even heard of it, you need to stack it today!
