Proud Mommy here: My 8 year old son read this by himself over the course of a couple of days. It‘s in Italian (my husband‘s collection). He is an amazing reader. He reads widely and fast! He‘s reading at the same level as an 11 yr old! And he loves Star Wars!

I was so excited when Hoopla announced that they now had marvel comics! The first volume of Darth Vader did not disappoint! This series bridges the gap between the destruction of the first death star and the beginning of The Empire Strikes Back. This had some great moments that any Vader fan would love. Volume 2 and Rat Queens are up next!

Did NOT know until today that I could get certain comic books free on Kindle for iphone with prime. Downloaded this one to have for waiting rooms and times when you don't have enough time to concentrate on a book with lots of words. Fun!

I've been in a reading slump these past couple of weeks so tonight I thought I'd see if I could kick-start my brain by reading the first volume of Kieron Gillen's Darth Vader series. I loved it. I literally laughed out loud several times. Will definitely be reading the other volumes.

(It is set between episodes 4 & 5, for those interested.)
