Boy am I late to the game with posting my #FoodandLit for Venezuela in April. The book was a soft pick for me, but the arepas were amazing!

LaraS @Dilara feta, avocado, beans, and mushrooms (how foolish of me to leave out such crucial information lol 😆😋) I love olives but I‘ve never had them on arepas…I‘ll have to try that! 5mo

#LaterPost for April‘s #FoodAndLit #Venezuela. Carne Mechada is a family favorite, but this was not my family‘s recipe. It probably would have been better if I had made some arepas and platanos, but I was too lazy. I may have to hit up my fave Venezuelan restaurant to get my fix. I‘m also struggling to get into this book.
