🌄 here's a sunset from last november, up on the hills it was a beautiful day.. but a few meters down, there was only fog (that looked like an endless sea of clouds!)

Took off today for the funeral of a good friend‘s mom, but looking ahead, these are my Friday evening plans.
Although my school year doesn‘t end until (gulp) June 27th, we have 3 non-cum days built in that we HAVE to take or we lose them. As a result, I took this Friday and next Friday off. Bonus points because I‘m missing Field Day! Definitely should have more time for reading, especially since my cat woke me up at regular time. Just have a few errands to tend to do. Up first, the DMV 😡

I've had a really busy weekend!! This morning I escaped while everyone was asleep to do laundry just so I can finally join the #litsypartyofone and have some reading time without interruptions. M&M's for breakfast just cause I finally have some me time.
pickI could not get over what Maggie witnessed to her mother all those years ago. She suffered immensely, and she kept to herself for all those years. Then you have West who is your stereotypical popular football player who is living large, but then you come to find that he has been hiding a secret from everyone that he knows; waiting for just someone to come along that he could vent to. He needed someone that he could fall apart to.

I am a huge Abbi Glines Fan. I've read both her Rosemary Beach Series and Sea Breeze Series late last year/early this year. Recently, Abbi decided to give her audience a new Rosemary Beach/Sea Breeze cross over series. The 2nd book in that series, "Because of Lila"' is scheduled for release on July 11th. In anticipation, im CR: Until Friday Night & will be re-reading Because of Low & One More Chance.

bailedI had to DNF this book. The main guy character was a jerk and used his female classmates, and only felt bad because of what Maggie would think. There was a lack of females in the stories, unless they were/ wanted to sleep with the guys, besides of course the 1 sweet innocent female who felt the need to save the troubled jerk football player. 🙄 also can we stop the trend where a parent dies and that leads to love, that's not how it works. 😬😳
Am I suppose to like West? Ugh this book so many problems, but I'll probably finish it because it's a fast read 🙄
pickCan't pass up an Abbi book for $3.50. It's definitely a mature YA, but I enjoyed it anyway.
