This was a really fun read. Books about the carnival life are an instant favourite with me. There was also the added fun of a murder mystery, who doesn't love a bit of murder 😏. Stephen King always makes me want food, and I found myself wanting to experience real carny life and food 🍿🌭 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I mean it wouldn't be fun to live in a small town, with a group of believers that think you're possessed by a demon. This would have been great when I was younger, cause right now I would have enjoyed this more as an adult fiction novel. .

"Everyone wants to be a Roanoke Girl." .
Um no. I think everyone in the town agreed that the Roanokes were fucked up on some sort of level.
Main character was tolerable, Lane was a bitch but I didn't hate her. A lot of alcoholism that wasn't properly addressed. Gran is the Umbridge of this story, she was a horrible terrible person that blamed everyone but herself! This was a very casual mystery.

The two up cards were both ace of spades... 'How can one deck of cards have two aces of spades?'

Was much better than the first book, still wasn't perfect.
There was a really good shoot out scene, after that it dargged a little.
I waited till the end to meet this serial killer in New York....and it wasn't what I was looking for 😕 .
Anyways looking forward to where this journey takes me.

100 pages into The Drawing of the Three. And it honestly so much better than the Gunslinger. Loving Eddie Dean 😀

The two POVs delt with grief. West has a dying father and his character acted out. So he uses girls (warning girl hate). Non of the girls matter to him until, The NEW GIRLS in town that's "mute". They connect Cause they can apparently see the sadness in each other's eyes.
"She reminded me that I wasn't the only person on earth to lose a parent" What? In that whole town your the only one to lose a parent???!

I'm only a third of the way through the Green Mile. The movie is still so fresh in my mind even though I watched it as a kid.

Just going to give ⭐⭐⭐⭐ it was good, it was fun. Something I really like is when an author can kill off a character 🙂 *spoilers* that didn't happen. Maybe to one character that didn't matter but whatever. I didn't have a fear of any of the characters dying, and guess what they didn't 😞 so that was underwhelming.
I wasn't sitting on the egde of my seat with this one 😪 at page 666 I was kind of like meh that'll be fixed in the next chapter

I liked this book for the most part. It wasn't altogether that great. And Warner was a little overrated, in my opinion. I do hope that if I ever do get a chance to read the sequels that they are better of that I'll at least enjoy them more.
