This book was wonderful, and the audio was well narrated.

Thought y‘all might appreciate these awesome tumblers my library got to give away for Adult Summer Readjng prizes. 😍 I‘m obsessed.
Mera is a bad ass hero warrior princess. We need more Mera‘s.
Y‘all ever have that book that you read as a kid but have a hard time remembering the title? This was that book for me. For YEARS I couldn‘t seem to locate it, and today it pops up on a donation cart at the library. What book do you wish would resurface so you stop feeling crazy?
Y‘all. I just saw this sponsored post on Insta. Anyone use chirp? Thoughts?
Not quite finished, and not quite sure what I‘m feeling about this one. Have you read it? What did you think?
All around I really enjoyed this, and I enjoyed it even more than the Kiss Quotient. HOWEVER, I have a really hard time with the fact that the author uses them term “sex” to refer to the female characters‘ genitalia in both books. It was used less frequently in this story so it wasn‘t as bad, which may be why I liked it better.
When one of your favorite YA authors cites something local to you, you become best friends right? 🤗
I‘ve been quite into this audio recently. Have you read or listened to it?
I was honored with a ticket to this fabulous event tonight and it was incredible. I love my job and state wide colleagues.
This is the only picture I have of this title. Which is an excellent read, btw! Can‘t wait to see her speak on Thursday!!
THE ENDING OF THIS BOOK MADE ME WANT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT!! Just me??
It‘s been a while friends. And it‘s really been a while for this package! Happy it got to me safely in my new home, finally. Thanks, @hlgreenfield !!
Where my librarians at?! Who else got this gold? 🥰
I‘ve become a Cookbook freak. 🤓 what‘s your favorite cookbook? What makes a good cookbook for you?
I‘m taking a break from the 30 Day Book Challenge because I got a little busy and off track. 🤷🏽♀️ Besides, I saw someone else take the @EpicReads personality quiz, so I HAD to. And if this isn‘t me, idk what is. #ExcellingInChaos
Ah! I got so far off track on this. 😱 so this one is a retelling of sorts, and I haven‘t read it but it‘s in my TBR. 🤷🏽♀️ #Day14 #30DayBoomChallenge
TBH I hate all James Patterson books. Not sorry. It makes it very difficult to curate a good library collection on a budget when his ghost writers are cranking these out every week, and people keep requesting them! It‘s not quality. He has enough money. Let‘s all just let it go. #EndRant #Day12 #30DayBookChallenge
Leah and I would be best friends, I just know it. ❤️ #Day11 #30DayBookChallenge
So, true story, like all romance books make me happy cry because I just love when people talk lovingly to each other. 🤷🏽♀️ but this one is probably my favorite. ❤️ #Day10 #30DayBookChallenge
So disclaimer: I don‘t give adults books as gifts regularly, and if I do it‘s very specific to the person. But kids books? My favorite gift at baby showers. And my current favorite is this gem. It‘s fun and interactive, and it teaches all great things! #Day9 #30DayBookChallenge
So good. Just, so good. I don‘t even need to say anything else. If you haven‘t read it, stack it. #Day8 #30DayBookChallenge
Can I just do a 39 day audiobook challenge? These are my JAM!!! With that said, don‘t take this recommendation lightly— The Inquisitor‘s Tale is an EXCELLENT audiobook. It‘s kid friendly, but adults will love the woven tale just as much. Like on par with Harry Potter. Yeah, I went there. #Day7 #30DayBookChallenege
I still remember sitting on the living room couch when I lived with my parents, bawling my eyes out reading this one. 😭 #Day6 #30DayBookChallenge
So I don‘t usually do “the classics” but I‘d say the one that stuck with me the most was Emma. It was a high school read and became something of an inside joke with a good friend. I even read Alexander McCall Smith‘s remake of it; and liked it! #Day5 #30DayBookChallenge
Few books have stuck with me since childhood, and this was one of them. #EverythingOnAWaffle #Day4 #30DayBookChallenge
My book club read this this past year and it was AWFUL. I don‘t typically read mysteries, and this one definitely did not sway me. 👎🏼 #day3 #30DayBookChallenge
I‘ve read all of Emily Griffins books, and it started with Something Blue, followed by Something Borrowed. She is the only author whose books I‘ve purposefully read all of (and waited for some to come out!). 💙 #day2 #30DayBookChallenge
I loved this series as a teen. Junky but addicting for sure! #day1 #30DayBookChalkenge
Well y‘all, it‘s been a minute, but I have been reading! I just finished this for a book club, and if you‘ll looking for a holiday rom-com, this is it.
SPOILERS FROM HERE ON OUT!
Personally, I wanted something different out of it, though. I was hoping for a story in which the love at first sight didn‘t win out, but that all parties continued to have successful and happy lives. When L and O got engaged, I was really rooting for them.
I didn‘t ever think that Rainn Wilson would be a person I would want to hang out with. Until I listened to his audiobook. 💯
OMG. OMG. OMG. Can‘t wait for the release date. Praying they select a theater near me to be one of the select theaters. 😍😍 Who in RI is looking to have a movie date when this comes out??
I just learned about this. Who has read this book? Thoughts? Are you excited for the movie?
Y‘all. This bathroom‘s walls are serious goals. 😍 I‘m going to start collecting books to do this in my house.
In my literal happy place. Books, coffee, booze. 😍 I‘ve got seats for #RhodyMeets! Otherwise, I‘ll be reading myself into bliss.

IT‘S TIME!! #RhodyMeets is happening. Join me at Riff Raff bar and bookstore (does it get better than that?!) in Providence for a meet up in June. So share this far and wide!
RI, MA, CT, and NH Litsians join us! We‘ll drink, chat, and probably end our afternoon with some book browsing. 🤷🏽♀️
I‘d like to get a sense of who is coming, so email me to check in! I might also have an extra idea up my sleeve. 😜
Fellow Rhode Islanders! Where you at?
I‘d love to plan a Rhody Meet-Up in early June as the weather warms up and we can expect it to stay that way. 😂 Comment below if you‘d like to
be kept in the loop, and whether a Tuesday night would work for you.
Help spread the word! Share this post and tag @GirlMeetsBook and with the hashtags #RhodyMeets and #LitsyHappenings
Bailed. Couldn‘t do it. I got half way through and the third “superhero” was too much for me. I really wish this had come together better for me, the idea was really exciting but I think it went over my head. 🤷🏽♀️ Has anyone tried this? Thoughts?

My top 3 TBR at the moment are:
1. The Harry Potter Series (I‘m committing to the audio-books this year!)
2. All We Ever Wanted by Emily Griffin (when it comes out)
3. A Gathering if Shadows by V E Schwab
Maybe my favorite line so far. Loving this book; such a good voice for non-fiction!
Does anyone have Force of Nature on their kindle that they would loan to my kindle account? I have to read it for a book club and there are too many holds on it at my library system!
I must say, I actually prefer an ebook over a paperback and a hardcover, but if the two I‘ll take a paperback I can squish and fold in my hands. 🙃
Well my big assignment was completed and submitted at roughly 10pm tonight. In two weeks or so I will learn whether I will receive my grad degree in June (assuming I pass my last class this semester). 😪
