This book failed me completely. It will be interesting to see what my fellow book club members think of it, but I have time before we sit down to discuss it.

This book is difficult to gather my thoughts on. It had a long and laborious buildup, finally getting interesting about ¾ of the way through it. That last ¼ had me on the edge of my seat. But the ending came out of the blue with no earlier hints at all. While I like books with that unexpected ending, I should be able to think back and see the clues I missed. But this one had none – zilch. Very disappointing.

What do you when work sucks? That's right. You go to the bookstore in the middle of the day.
Just walking in and smelling the book smell made everything better.
