so-soI wanted to love this, but it dragged for me. It was a good story.
I don‘t normally play these, but here goes!
1.) Ten Beach Road by Wendy Wax
2.) I‘m a coach at my day job and I helped someone to shift their mindset enough to be willing to try a piece of software that will elevate their practice
3.) My Maria by Brooks & Dunn - This song will always remind me of the summer after my senior year of HS with the top down and radio blasting!

pickBorrowed this ebook from the library because I won the 10th book in the series in a giveaway. I honestly had no expectations because I had never heard of them before. I really enjoyed it! 3 lady strangers become partners in a run-down beach house and spend the summer fixing it up and becoming friends. Romance is there, but not the focus. Light, enjoyable read & I already borrowed the next one in the series!
pickThis was an enjoyable light read, set on the beach in Pass-a-Grille, Florida, near St. Pete, where I lived for two years in the early 2000s. Wendy Wax does a good job with contemporary women‘s issues through characterization, plot, and a fast-moving story.
I love winter, but today‘s temperature (60s!!) gave me stirrings of longing for summer. Had to satisfy it with a beach read 💙
so-soI admit the so-so rating has a bit to do with my expectations. I expected this to be a little more Mary Kay Andrews, and it ended up being more Karen White. It's an enjoyable read, but there wasn't much joy or humor to it. I think it just took itself too seriously. I'll give the second book a chance at some point, but there wasn't much here to separate it from other books like it.
