It is the second part if The Wine Witch. It was a nice read, I love when the writer don't duplicate the first book.

1.) The Glamourist, rest to be determined by my mood lol 😂
2.) Y: The Last Man; Vol. 1: Unmanned
3.) Just try to focus on reading again, make time for it.

I wasn‘t blown away with the second Novel in the Vine Witch series.
I found it hard to get into it and I stopped/started a lot as it didn‘t complete hold my interest.
Overall it was a nice continuation of the first novel however it almost went completely off course with Elena being unable to work the vineyards which she fought so hard for in the first book.
I will be checking out the next in the series, hopefully it will focus more on Elena!
While I didn't enjoy this as much as The Vine Witch, it is still a good follow up. Character development was the focus of this novel & there was less atmosphere than was present in the first. The magic usage, development, & history were the best pieces & I loved some of the added side characters. The pacing was a bit irregular, but the good writing pulled it though & the ending was very well done. No cliffhanger, but enough left for the next book.
Listening while I work. Anyone else love the covers from this series?

Thoroughly enjoyed this sequel to The Vine Witch. We get to learn more about one of the first novel's interesting witches.
No spoilers, but I LOVED the way they went with protagonist's ancestry. Another fun summer read!

I loved The Vine Witch and wasn't sure I would be as into a book centered on Yvette, but this was just as captivating. While I missed the vineyard, the time period and the world Smith built kept it interesting. I'm looking forward to the third book to learn more about Sidra's story.
