Rian Grant, Viscount Queenscliffe, may be a veteran of the Continental war, but Kit doesnt know him or his motivesand shes dealt with one too many members of the Beau Monde. Much of today at work involved me taking down and putting up another display. Since we were closed or had reduced hours most of 2020, I decided to do a display of books people might have missed that came out that year. The other side is all fiction. The side pictured - non-fiction, mystery, and science fiction.

Bookzombie That‘s a great idea for a display. 3y

A good plot with lots of adventuring and enjoyable characters that was unable to get a 5 star rating because of the romance that felt pushed, underdeveloped and completely not needed.

Happy Publication Day to the first installment of a new #HighFantasy series from Chloe Neill! I loved her Chicagoland Vampires series so I was super excited to dive into this adventure on the high seas! Captain Kit Brightling makes for a strong heroine. Aligned to the sea, she has the ear of her country‘s queen which leads to special missions! The bantering dialogue & relationships add to the fun in this well-performed #audiobook! #AudioColoring

I haven't gotten much reading done the last couple days, so that's my plan for tonight. We're all settled on the couch. I'm almost halfway through this book and highly enjoying.

I finished the book I started earlier today already. I plan on continuing that series, but thought I better go back to my ARCs. I LOVE the cover for this naval fantasy by Neill and the description sounded right up my alley, so I'm going to start it now.

My Kindle doesn't show just how pretty this cover is, so I recommend checking it out on goodreads or the author's website.

wanderinglynn I love Chloe Neill‘s books 👍🏻 4y
ValerieAndBooks I have not heard of this author, but that book looks good. Stacking! 4y
